Black Star initiated a new tradition at the 2011 Great American Beer Festival (GABF) by presenting a new award at this year’s festival. T.J. Schneider of Denver, CO was announced this year’s biggest beer fan and bestowed Black Star’s ultimate beer fan trophy. Though most breweries, beers and brewers come to GABF to hopefully win a GABF gold medal, Black Star wanted to thank all the beer fans from across the country for coming out and making it all possible. T.J. Schneider accepted Black Star’s trophy on behalf of all beer lovers and will proudly have his name engraved on this 7 ft tall ultimate beer fan trophy.
