Recommended as, “best for anyone who loves a good time,” Outside Magazine lists the Black Star Barter among the best of the best beer fests, from the Tour de Fat to the Great American Beer Festival.

Last weekend, Sterling Bradbrook, our sales manager in Montana, was on a mission to set a new record. Sterling decided that he was going to build the largest 6-pack beer display in the whole state of Montana, and that is exactly what he did.

The town of Whitefish, Montana may never forget the 2012 Black Star Barter. Contestants traveled in from as far as the South Pacific and Portland, Oregon to compete for their chance at a year's supply of Black Star beer. It was clear to us that this year's contestants were serious about winning the fifty-two cases of Montana's finest golden lager.

As fans of awesome multifunctional vehicles (have you seen our vintage Airstream trailer with a digital photo booth?!), we decided to contact the Flathead Valley’s finest food trucks to showcase their delicious fare during the Black Star Barter on Saturday, February 4th at 5pm! Our favorite food trucks and tents will serve up their tasty dishes for all to enjoy while watching contestants barter up their prized possessions and performances for a chance at a year’s supply of beer.
