When the first new batch of Black Star was brewed in February, it seemed like drinking a bottled Black Star in San Francisco at a well known bar was kinda like the New Orleans Saints winning the Super Bowl. Er wait, they did win the Super Bowl. So, maybe it wasn't that far off of a thought.

The Black Star Airstream pulled out of Indio, CA to head back to the bay area at about 10 AM on Monday. The drive wasn't started without noticing exhausted smiles and sun kissed faces. But the more noticeable part was the 112 cases or so of Black Star beer that would not be making it back. They definitely were the commodity of the weekend as hot sun and laid back vibe was enough for party goers to consume all of the beer.

The Great American Road Trip arrives in Goldfield, NV, home to one of the most haunted places in America, the Goldfield Hotel. Virginia, the caretaker took the crew on a nighttime tour and introduced them the hotel’s spirit. The Goldfield is no longer opened to the public and the crew was some of the few people who got to film inside. Off to Vegas!
