Black Star Beer is proud to sponsor San Francisco’s newest art fair, artMRKT San Francisco. Opening May 19–22, 2011 at San Francisco’s Concourse Exhibition Center and operated by the Brooklyn-based fair organizers artMRKT Productions, artMRKT San Francisco will feature approximately 65 national and international galleries, exhibiting modern and contemporary work, many exhibiting in San Francisco or on the West Coast for the first time, including Babcock Galleries, Like the Spice, and Other Criteria.

artMRKT will kick off the fair’s 2011 debut with a two-tiered Opening Preview Party on Thursday, May 19^th. Proceeds from the first half of the evening will benefit the art program for the University of California, San Francisco’s new benchmark children’s, women’s and cancer hospital complex in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco.
